History

Continuous innovation and rapid transformation have been common themes throughout APEX GROUP’S history, which the company traces to the 1980s. Mr Mukunda Timilsina founded the group with his brother Mr Sudhir Timilsina who were guided by the principle ‘Dream Big, Think Differently, Think Fast and Think Ahead’. The group initially started business operations by importing goods from China and over the years has grown to become one of the largest conglomerates of Nepal today. It was through their foresight and strong business acumen that Apex Group created a legacy that would serve as an inspiration for generations to come.

Mr Pragyat Timilsina, son of Mr Mukunda Timilsina, has joined the family business since the year 2012. He has gained international business qualifications from esteemed universities after completing his Bachelor degree from the University of Adelaide Australia and Masters program from the University of the West of England.  He believes in creativity, invention and innovation and has since been an active member in all aspects of our business functioning.

Over the years, the group has primarily focused on a range of diverse industrial and consumer segments such as hydropower, cement production, clinker production, bricks manufacturing, real estate, trading and consumer electronics. It has firmly contributed to the economy of this country and focused on building a solid base for business in Nepal.
